Happy Father's Day to all of you out there! Yesterday was a great day. The kids and I went to church and our neighbor's new live in nanny came with us after I invited her. Brian had already left the house at 630am to do the Tour de Cure ride for the American Diabetes Association.
It was a tough day for me because Aria kept me up all night, not wanting to sleep in her bed because she is afraid of the dark. So not only was I feeding Lance all night but putting Aria to bed over and over and over:-) I was so excited to watch Brian come through the finish line, but it was 90 degrees and with 3 kids it was not the best environment to wait in. We went to Reston and while I was there Brian called when he got to the half way point. So it was going to be at least another 2 hours. I couldn't keep the kids there that long, they were long over due for a nap and so was I! So I sadly headed home, I felt so bad not being able to be there at the finish line.
Brian finished the race with his team, Team Allez. They did just over 70 miles! That is a lot...way to go Brian we love you and thanks for being the best Dad to our kids! YOU ROCK!
Brian with his team. These are all people that he use to work with.

And of course one show off picture:-) Trust me this bike is not heavy at all! Good job Brian you did it again.
